Method:
1 Combine beef mince, coriander, cumin, fennel, onion and breadcrumbs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.  Mix until well combined, using wet hands, roll mixture into small balls.
2 Combine tomatoes, chilli, garlic and star anise in a saucepan and bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 3-4 minutes, add meatballs and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until cooked through.  
3 Spoon meatballs into a shallow bowl, pour over a little sauce and top with basil leaves to serve.
