Method:
1 Preheat oven 200°C fan-forced.
2 Beat butter and 2 tbs sugar in a bowl with a wooden spoon until pale, stir in egg yolk, flour and ground hazelnuts and mix well. 
3 Place pastry rounds on a baking paper-lined oven tray. Spread the mix evenly over the pastry and place the figs neatly on top.  Sprinkle with remaining caster sugar. Bake for 10 minutes or until pastry is crisp and golden.  Serve warm with ice cream.
