Method:
1 Preheat the oven to 200°c fan-forced.
2 Place potatoes and onion on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, bake for 12-15 minutes or until tender and crisp.
3 Heat a frying pan over medium heat, rub oil over the steak and coat in ground pepper, cook for 3-4 minutes each side for medium or until cooked to your liking, remove the steak and rest for 5 minutes.
4 Heat oil in same pan and cook onion and garlic for 2 minutes, add wine and chicken stock, simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly reduced, season with salt and pepper, pour in the cream and bring to the boil, cook for a further 2 minutes or until thickened slightly.
5 Plate the steak with the potatoes and onion to the side, spoon sauce over to serve.
