Method:
1 Preheat the oven to 180°C fan-forced.
2 Cut fillo sheets in half. Lay 1 rectangle of filo pastry on a flat work surface. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with some of the almond meal. Place another rectangle of fillo on top. Repeat with butter and almond meal, to create 4 layers. Transfer to a lined baking tray, bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until pastry is crisp and golden.
4 Heat half the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add strawberries, cook 5-6 minutes or until strawberries soften. Add brandy to flambé. Remove from the heat.
5 Heat remaining butter in a frying pan over medium heat, add almonds, cook 3-4 minutes or until almonds are golden.
6 Top pastry with the strawberries and spoon over almond butter to serve.
