Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced. Grease six 1/3-cup capacity oval friand pans.
2. Place egg whites in a medium bowl, whisk with a fork until combined. Add butter, almond meal and sifted icing sugar and flour; stir until just combined. Gently stir in cherries.
3. Divide mixture among prepared pans; bake about 20 minutes. Stand 5 minutes; turn onto wire rack to cool.
